Tropical aquarium fish Identification Pictures

Original pictures of tropical aquarium fish and plants

Have already sent a proposal.

I'm seeting up a website with information regarding fishkeeping and everything related to this hobby. The website will have two sections called 'Fish' and 'Plants', which will showcase profiles for all the species of tropical aquarium fish and plants.

I will need for this a set of original and clear photographs of various species of tropical aquarium fish and plants.
I think this is a great chance for you to get your pictures out there on the web as all the photos will carry copyright info stating your name.

As a rough estimate, there will be around 130 plant species and 150 fish (everything from guppies to large american cichlids).

Please see here a list of plants:

And here a list of fish species:

I'm currently working on a list that will include names of fish and plants along with a photo from Google for identification. I will attach the list as soon as I'll finish it.

IMPORTANT guidelines:

- the photos must be ORIGINAL
- min. resolution of 1MP (1280 x 800) and max. of 3.1MP (2048x1536)
- the photo must be of a fish/plant and not the whole tank
- I will require 3-5 photos per species (different angles)
- the subject must be in clear focus
- no scratched or dirty aquarium glass
- if possible, the background must be black (or a dark color)
See example:

This is the quality I'm after:

Your task will not be only to take the photos but also you'll have to find places in your area who keeps different species of fish and plants.

Just wanted to say that I enjoy all your posts

Reading celebrity gossip is my guilty pleasure... lol.
Are you guys (who post pictures) the photographers, or do you find them on other sites to post here?
Saw Sinbad today, at a tropical fish store in Chatsworth. He'll be back there on Saturday to drop off his 9ft boa that they are going to sell for him. Couldn't figure out why he looked so familiar, so I said "You look so familiar..." and he replied that it's because he's always in the store. Then someone called his name from the back of the store and he laughed and said "Or maybe you've seen me somewhere else" Ha! I felt like an idiot, but at least I wasn't gushing at him or something equally annoying; we just talked snakes & reptiles while they finished my sale & his paperwork about the snake
